hey yall!
ria blaas is back. o, almost 10 years ago for several years, we had holiday puppet shows and even a puppet "blaast"; and now, ria wants to do it again. its a special treat and good for adults as well as children. heres the press for our latest scheduled event here in the museum front room:
There was no room at the inn so they landed at the Old Fire Station…
Upper Loveland Puppets presents
A Christmas Story
Featuring Prof. Ria Blass and her Intelligent Marionettes! With co-puppeteer Suzanne Lupien
Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 4:00 p.m.
December 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th!
the museum's annual holiday open house will be held after the show, sunday december 18th at 5:30 p.m.
At the Main Street Museum 58 Bridge Street White River Junction
$7.00 us
See Jesus, Mary and Joseph on the road and in trouble — again! Shows last one hour
refreshments served with each show.
the main street museum is handicap accessible via the drop-off parking area in front of the building.

i remember ria from way back. when i was about 10 (i'm 31 now) my parents put me in a summer program at the Ray School in hanover. it was headed by ria, and we made these awesome, huge puppets. my husband and i are moving up to WRJ in may, and i can't wait to bring my daughter to a puppet show.
